Don't throw that Battery Away!
When you buy a new kit, you need to give your new battery its first 2-4 hour charge. The light on the charger should turn green.
Some batteries are off after the charge and need to be turned back on. This is also the process for turning the battery off: Five (5) quick presses of the button turns the battery on/off.
Another issue sometimes experienced is the button is pressed and no vaping happens. Reconnect the tank and try again. If this does not work, try another tank. If this is still the issue then feel free to contact the store for a replacement or myself for more questions.
Some information on E-Liquid:
This is a very difficult calculation if not impossible simply because there are many factors that play a part. This is like comparing apples with oranges however based on the conditions below is an attempt to try and put it into perspective:
[ Quantity based direct mathematical comparison ]
The calculations are based on:
1000mg = 1ml
18mg is 1.8% (18/1000) & likewise 11mg is 1.1% (11/1000)
A 1.6ml capacity clearomiser is being used (supplied in the v4u eGo starter kit)
18mg nicotine strength e liquid:
Each full clearomiser will contain 28.8mg (1.6 x 18) of nicotine
11mg nicotine strength e liquid:
Each full clearomiser will contain 17.6mg (1.6 x 11) of nicotine
::Comparing the above with cigarettes::
~ If you smoked full strength cigarettes (Camel for example)
* A cigarette contains approximately 1.2mg of nicotine each
* If you smoke 20 cigarettes a day that would equal 24mg of nicotine
1 pack a day would approximately equal 1.33ml full clearmizer of 18mg strength per day
= 40.34ml of e-liquid per month (minimum)
~ If you smoked Light cigarettes (Marlboro Lights for example)
* A cigarette contains approximately 0.7mg of nicotine each
* If you smoke 20 cigarettes a day that would equal 14mg of nicotine
1 pack a day would approximately equal 1.28ml full clearmizer of 11mg strength per day
=38.82ml of e-liquid per month (minimum)
~ If you smoked Ultra Light cigarettes (Silk Cut Ultra Lights for example)
* A cigarette contains approximately 0.5mg of nicotine each
* If you smoke 20 cigarettes a day that would equal 10mg of nicotine
1 pack a day would approximately equal 0.91ml full clearmizer of 11mg strength per day.
=27.60ml of e-liquid per month (minimum)
[ Experience based average comparison ]
Assuming the average experienced vaper considers 1ml of e-liquid = 7 cigarettes:
30 ml = 210 cigarettes
So based on that if you smoke/d 20 cigarettes a day that would equal to 2.85ml of e-liquid which could be rounded up to 2 1.6ml full clearomisers.
I personally have 2-3 1.6ml clearomisers per day. I used to smoke 20 full strength cigarettes a day.
Given the above information and based on how many cigarettes you smoke and which type of cigarettes you smoke you should be able to decide which strength e liquid you should go for and how many times you should fill your clearomiser per day. The best would be to try both 11mg and 18mg levels and see which one you are comfortable with most.
:: NOTES ::
This post is meant to be a "rough guide" only.
The contents of this post is based on daily consumption levels of experienced vapers and not any scientific study.
It is important to understand that the above is a "straight up" comparison which is meant to be a rough guide i.e. it doesn't take into consideration:
a. how much of the nicotine evaporates when smoking
b. how much of the nicotine evaporates when vaping
c. how much of the nicotine is absorbed by either smoking and vaping
d. How quickly is the nicotine absorbed by either smoking or vaping
What's important is how MUCH and how QUICKLY is nicotine ABSORBED into the body either by smoking or vaping. Depending on that information what's explained above could vary vastly.
What are Vogue Electronic Cigarettes?
They are electronic, alternative smoking devices that simulate the sensation of smoking. They do not expose the user, or others close by to harmful levels of cancer causing agents and other dangerous chemicals normally associated with traditional tobacco products. The devices produce a realistic simulated smoke which is actually a vapor mist. When exhaled, the vapor harmlessly evaporates in the surrounding air within a few seconds. The basic components of our products consist of a battery, an atomizer, and a flavored cartridge that is filled with propylene glycol, flavoring, varying amounts of nicotine, and a computer chip that controls it all. Both the atomizer and cartridges are considered to be consumables. Cartridges are available in varying amounts of nicotine that include high, medium and no nicotine at all.
How do they work?
When the user inhales from the cartridge, they produce a negative pressure within the device that then activates the power. This in turn activates the atomizer. The atomizer creates a vapor derived from the mixture that is found in the cartridge. As the vapor passes through the cartridge, it picks up the nicotine and flavoring and delivers it to the user. The user absorbs the nicotine either through the mucus membranes in the mouth or through the lungs.
What is Nicotine?
Nicotine is an addictive alkaloid that is naturally present in certain plants. A high presence is found in tobacco and a low presence is found in common vegetables such as potatoes, tomatoes and green peppers. Nicotine, when delivered in small dosages such as in a cigarette or cigar can deliver a feeling of calmness or relaxation. Current available information states that nicotine in and of itself has not been shown to cause cancer in healthy tissue. Additionally, it has not been shown to have any mutagenic properties. This being said, it should also be noted that the International Agency for Research on Cancer has not evaluated nicotine as of this time. Nicotine is considered habit forming and addictive.
What is Propylene Glycol?
Propylene glycol is a food additive found in many foods we eat today. It is used in food coloring, flavoring and also used to keep food, medicines and cosmetics moist. It is considered to be generally safe and it is the element in our product that helps to create the vapor that simulates smoke. It is also used in medical inhalants. Although the FDA considers it as "generally recognized as safe" for use in food, cosmetics and medicines, use of propylene glycol in simulated smoking devices is not currently included in the list of uses generally recognized as safe by the FDA.
How long does a cartridge last?
Our cartridges last for 110-180 puffs or approximately 15 cigarettes, this means that if a cigarette comparison will depend on how many puffs it takes for you to get rid of your craving.
3 puffs: equivalent to between 36 and 60 cigarettes
5 puffs: equivalent to between 22 and 36 cigarettes
8 puffs: equivalent to between 13 and 22 cigarettes
10 puffs: equivalent to between 11 and 18 cigarettes
If you are not seeing longevity from your cartridges it may be because you are using a cartridge with too low a level of nicotine. Try going up a level of nicotine to see if your puffs per usage goes down which will in turn increase your cartridge life. There is a Nicotine Saturated Fillament in your Mini/EVers cartridges that may get pulled out or get stuck on the atomizer. Please take care in removing this and/or placing it back into the cartridge. To place it back into its proper place, use a toothpick or paper clip to gently push it back into place. Wash your hands promptly after doing this and properly dispose of the toothpick, paper clip or any other item you used to put the fillament back in place with.
How long will the atomizer last? (Approx 3 months depending on use)
An atomizer is considered to be a semi-consumable, but will operate through the use of many cartridges before replacement becomes necessary. An atomizer needs to be replaced when vapor volume is noticeably reduced even after a fresh cartridge and fully charged battery have been installed. It is important to note that if the atomizer continues to produce a proper volume of vapor, one should continue using it until the volume is decreased to a level that is too low to deliver a satisfying volume of vapor. Replacement atomizers are available for purchase when needed.
How long does a battery last?
Vogue batteries are rechargeable. A new battery out of the box should be charged a minimum of 3 hours before the first use. After that, a normal charge should only require 2 - 4 hours of charge time. Every Vogue Pack comes with a charger and one to two rechargeable batteries depending on pack ordered. A battery will typically last about three days before recharging, although we recommend an overnight charge, just like you would charge your cell phone. A reduced volume of vapor typically indicates that the battery needs to be charged, even though the tip of the battery will still produce a simulated burning ash. It is a good idea to purchase an optional, additional rechargeable battery to keep your product working when you need it.

Is it less expensive to use this product than traditional cigarettes?
From the standpoint of comparing the cost of a pack of cigarettes to Vogue cartridges, it really depends on how much one is paying for a pack of cigarettes. It should be noted, however, that a Vogue cartridge will cost the user about $2.30 U.S. v/s $4~$5 dollars a pack.
Can I smoke it anywhere?
Since the products do not utilize burning tobacco, are non-flammable and do not produce smoke, they technically do not fall under the letter of the law that prevents the smoking of tobacco in certain places. Our products are not FDA approved and are not sold as smoking cessation devices. They have never been tested or proven to be cessation devices and we are not marketing them or selling them for that purpose. We are marketing and selling them to our customers as an alternative to smoking traditional tobacco products. They offer the freedom to be used in most places that currently prohibit the use of tobacco products. They produce no first or second hand smoke. Like Traditional Tobacco products, we offer lower strengths of Nicotine Cartridges if you choose to decrease your Nicotine Intake. They are virtually odor free and represent an overall lower cost to the user than traditional cigarettes. They help to restore freedom to smokers almost anywhere, anytime and do not lend themselves to creating "social isolation" as one might expect with traditional tobacco products.

IN THE NEWS:
Judge: FDA cannot regulate electronic cigarettes
FDA blocked from stopping e-cigarette shipments. A federal judge said Thursday the Food and Drug Administration cannot stop shipments of electronic cigarettes into the United States.
WASHINGTON -- A federal judge says the Food and Drug Administration overstepped its authority in recent efforts to regulate electronic cigarettes.
A ruling by U.S. District Court Judge Richard Leon handed down Thursday sides with two electronic cigarette suppliers, Smoking Everywhere and NJOY, in their lawsuit against the FDA.
The companies sued the government after regulators began halting shipments of electronic cigarettes last year. The FDA said it found cancer-causing ingredients in the products, despite manufacturers' claims that the products are safer than tobacco cigarettes.
Electronic cigarettes use a battery-operated vaporizer to produce a nicotine mist that simulates inhalable smoke. Manufacturers have touted the products as a healthier alternative to smoking because there is no burning involved.
The FDA argued that electronic cigarettes are in fact a combination drug-device, and therefore subject to stricter safety standards than cigarettes.
But Judge Leon rejected that reasoning, agreeing with manufactures that electronic cigarettes are "the functional equivalent of traditional cigarettes."
"This case appears to be yet another example of FDA's aggressive efforts to regulate recreational tobacco products as drugs or devices," states Leon's ruling. "Unfortunately, its tenacious drive to maximize its regulatory power has resulted in its advocacy of an interpretation of the relevant law that I find, at first blush, to be unreasonable."
Leon was appointed to the U.S. District Court by President Bush in 2002.
The FDA recently gained the power to regulate tobacco-based cigarettes, but since electronic cigarettes don't contain tobacco they don't fall under that regulation.
